Applications for Our PVC Template Film
Our high-quality PVC template film is widely used in the stonemasonry industry, but can also be used for any situation where a semi-rigid, but flexible, material with a high tear & puncture resistance, making it durable, is required. Fabrication in crafts such as glaziers, boatbuilders, set makers, musical instrument makers, ornamental plasterers and any other craftspeople who require a material of this type for making templates.
The semi-rigid but flexible nature of this film allows you to place it around a curved surface to create the profile to your desired shape, without stretching or shrinking, giving it a multitude of applications.
Sometimes referred to as template plastic, template paper, template sheet, template PVC, template film or acetate paper, this film can be used as an effective alternative to Mylar®* as a template material.
*‘Mylar’ is a registered trademark of the DuPont Teijin Corporation.

- Its qualities of being water, fat & oil resistant and of a robust nature with high tear and puncture resistance makes it durable and ideally suitable for harsh environments such as the stonemasons workshop or similar
- It is of a semi-rigid nature, so is flexible but also holds it’s shape
