Stonemasons Template Film
Our PVC film is currently predominantly used by Stonemasons as a material from which they can create templates (also sometimes known as ‘templets’ or ‘moulds’) for the working of architectural stonemasonry. This can be in:
- the restoration and conservation sector for tracing existing profiles or work
- in new build for setting out or plotting onto a new stone profile or shape (bedmoulds, facemoulds, sections etc)
- the rolls can be used in graphics printers and plotters, where you can plot your profiles directly onto the PVC
Typical uses include:
- Tracery for ecclesiastical work
- Any circular work which requires a large radius
- Large treads for cantilevered Staircases
- Our 1370 wide roll can typically fit a width of a tread on a cantilvered stone staircase.
- Our 1370 wide roll can also fit 2 no typical kitchen worktop widths.
